Joe DeVito is an acclaimed artist, sculptor, and storyteller best known for reimagining and expanding the mythology of the King Kong. Founder of DeVito ArtWorks, LLC, Joe has created worlds that span books, comics, games, and screen adaptations—including projects with DC, Marvel, Disney+, Raw Thrills VR gaming, and The Sandbox metaverse.

Over the decades, Joe has painted and sculpted many of pop culture’s most legendary heroes—Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Tarzan, Doc Savage, even MAD Magazine’s Alfred E. Neuman. Joe has cemented his place as one of today’s most versatile creators. His art has appeared on hundreds of book and magazine covers, collectible posters, trading cards, toys and in concept design for film and television.

Today, DeVito wants to bring the prehistoric world to a new audience–kids! And the idea for Kid Kong and Gaw Girl was born. After laying the ground work, Joe joined forces with Becca Klein to bring that world more fully to life! Her beautifully realized characters and original story arc combine to create an irresistible journey of discovery in words and pictures for young readers to explore.

Kid Kong and Gaw Girl is published by World Builder Publishing, a division of World Build Entertainment.
